Observation or Quarantine Cage

Luwaks are free to roam designated areas on our farm, enjoying their natural habitat.

Occasionally, we humanely capture them and place them in comfortable observation cages for a short quarantine period. An observation cage is a purpose-built enclosure designed to safely house and monitor luwaks for a specific time frame.

These cages are constructed with durable materials, providing a secure and controlled environment. Observation cages allow veterinarians, researchers, or caretakers to closely observe and assess the health, behavior, and overall well-being of the luwaks. Quarantine cages, on the other hand, are vital for isolating and monitoring luwaks that may carry diseases or require temporary separation to prevent the spread of illness. By utilizing observation or quarantine cages, professionals can ensure proper care, treatment, and management of luwaks, while minimizing risks to both the animals and the surrounding environment.

We periodically use enticing bait to attract them into smaller cages. This gentle approach allows for safe and humane transport to comfortable quarantine cages where our veterinarians conduct thorough health checks. Once complete, the Luwaks are promptly released back into their natural habitat
