Step by step

Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to,beach sand. This grind size allows for balanced extraction, preventing over- or under-extraction.

Rinse the French Press carafe and plunger with hot water to preheat them and maintain the coffee’s temperature.

Place the desired amount of coffee grounds into the French Press carafe. A standard starting point would be around two tablespoons for a regular cup.

Carefully pour hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring they are fully submerged. The ideal water temperature is around 93 degrees, Celsius.

Allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes, permitting the flavors to fully develop and infuse into the water.

After the steeping time, slowly and gently press down the plunger. This separates the spent coffee grounds from the brewed liquid.

Pour the freshly brewed coffee into your favorite mug and savor the rich, bold, and nuanced flavors of your French Press brew.
